However experienced you are, we welcome foragers of all kinds to get out together early on in the festival. This is one of the first chances to collect edibles and work on your identification skills! Get out there and still make it back in time to catch the afternoon programming.
John Sir Jesse, a longtime TMF contributor and resident mycophile of the San Juan Mountains, will guide attendees through the forest while getting them acquainted with fungi of the area and spirit of the festival!
Where to Meet.This foray meets at
Carhenge Parking Lot at 9:15am. We invite you to arrive a few minutes early to get acquainted with your fellow foragers! TMF does not provide transportation. We encourage all participants to carpool as much as possible!
Be Prepared!A friendly reminder to come prepared for inclement weather with good footwear, properly hydrated, with snack and stories to share.
