303 Magazine) and Best Eco-Friendly Restaurants in America (
opentable.com, April 2019). In 2019, ColoradoBiz Magazine named him one of Denver’s Most Influential Young Professionals (
Top 25 Under 40). Chris is passionate about local sourcing and farm-to-table sourced cuisine. He and his wife Diana owned and operated their own farm (
Lost Creek Micro Farm) for four years starting in 2017 in Lakewood, Colorado. Chris has been beekeeping for ten years and is a

Chris Starkus is a member and club chef of the
Pike Peak Mycological Society, loves to forage for wild
mushrooms in the mountains, fish, road and mountain bike, and simply be outdoors. Chris truly lives the modern sustainable lifestyle through his work bringing the whole community to the culture of transparency, eco-conscious eating and local sourcing.
