About me
Julie Daoust is the Chief Science Officer at Om Mushroom Superfood. Dr Daoust received her PhD in natural product chemistry from the University of British Columbia and has since worked in the nutraceutical industry with a focus on plant-based products. Her research has been centered on bioprospecting for new functional metabolites in plants and fungi and on clinical outcomes related to plant-based nutrition. At Om Mushroom, Dr. Daoust brings her passion for mushrooms to life working along the talented mycology and R&D team on breakthrough research to support the use of functional mushrooms.
