About me
Ken Mycelium is one of the founders of Fruiting Bodies, a revolutionary functional mushroom company and a sponsor of this year's Telluride Mushroom Festival. He has also started three other mushroom companies including the Chicago Mushroom Company, before deciding to focus on the medicinal side of fungi with his business partner Roger Holden and their amazing team in his ongoing quest to serve love and healing and building community through mushrooms. He has spent the past 24 years studying, teaching and working in holistic and integrative medicine, permaculture, soil science, mycology, shamanism, restorative and transformative justice. He's studied with some of the industry's leaders such as Paul Stamets, Peter McCoy and Robert Rogers. Though his biggest teacher and guide in life has been fungi themselves! This has led to a passion for growing all types of mushrooms as well as educating and sharing as much as possible about the *magic* of mushrooms. Ken and Fruiting Bodies are now working with Robert Rogers as the first company to bring Mushroom Essences to North America. Ken has a huge heart and serves as a beacon of light for everyone that knows him. He can't wait to share his love and passion with you at this year's Festival!
